ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is a future EU system for issuing travel authorisation for the Schengen Area.
ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is a future EU system for issuing travel authorisation for the Schengen Area. When ETIAS is put into operation, it will mean that visa-exempt third-country nationals travelling to the Schengen Area must apply for an ETIAS travel authorisation before entry.
Note: ETIAS is currently not in operation and no applications are collected at this point.
